With the continued growth of Facebook, businesses have started to sit up and take notice. Some marketers are reported to be making up to $1000 a day on the dominant social network. They are testament to the realistic potential Facebook has to make money online for businesses. As the Facebook hype continues we can only expect more and more companies to look for new ways to drive traffic back to their websites through this viral medium. Getting more traffic means getting more money, which everyone is after. So how can we, as online business owners, successfully drive traffic back to our business pages?

According to my research of Facebook, a fan page really starts to gathering momentum after it exceeds 20,000 fans. Beyond this point, the rate of growth is unstoppable. By drawing on Facebook fan pages, we can tap into the viral traffic available to it. All it takes is a few compelling ideas. The real key to acheiving success using the Facebook feeder strategy is first of all being able to create a viral system where you can take a facebook fan page viral again and again. First of all though you need to learn how to take your first fan page viral. Once one fan page gets over the 20,000 mark it can be used on other fan pages of the same owner to aid that page in reaching the 20,000 person target.

When you have three five viral fan pages with increasing numbers of fans and gathering momentum, it is time to Feed them into the main Facebook business page you have setup. This business page needs to fit the demographic, justify the benefits of joining and engage with fans so they feel like they can join in discussions, add comments etc.

This method works with all businesses however, it lends itself best to the female demographic. In my experience, women tend to love sharing and talking about viral topics more than men.

Once you business page starts flourishing, you are in a great position to begin calling your fans to act, thus converting their presence into sales.

Remember that like SEO Feeder sites, Facebook feeders rely on relevancy to be effective. Talk to your audience in their own language and terms they understand and your online business will be rewarded greatly as a result.

I’m at a farm in Northern Nevada, spending time with family and friends, in a gorgeous multimillion dollar home with a breath taking view.

As I sit hear drinking my coffee on a leather couch positioned in front of a monster stone fireplace and a huge wall of windows, I wonder can money buy happiness?

Now let me explain. I’ve commented a few times about wanting to acquire significant wealth to buy a big home and all it’s glory. Yes, it’s a selfish goal but one I will accomplish with tons of hard work.

“Dreams are made a size too big so that you can grow into them.”

I want the big house with lots of rooms, granite countertops, bathrooms that look like hotel spas, mass king fireplace, acreage for gardens and my husband’s cattle & horses. I want it all. It’s where I want to spend my hard earned investments.

But it’s not all for monetary reasons. Like this house holds the whole big clan on a visit; everyone couple has there own room. The kids have a gorgeous playhouse/bedroom. The children get to feed the trout, ride the horses, and run around on the tractor. They also get to learn horseman skills and how to fish. The family gets to gather around the large open kitchen chatting up memories. The boys get to man it up around the BBQ and patio. The family concept is awesome! And I would be honored to be that house that gathers my family and future grandchildren in a big ole house.

Can money buy happiness? Well, the family gathering is the happiness, of course. The money can increase it’s fun. And as my goal, I’d rather enjoy investing in it’s material glory for the cause.

Sites like Mylot etc. offer a great opportunity for beginners to earn extra money online. The only thing required is effort from your side. If you try out complex methods to earn money in the beginning itself there is a high probability that you fail and get de-motivated. The smarter alternative is to start small and keep it simple until your income gradually begins to grow.

Beware of Scams

It is so important that beginners are aware of this. Most scams on the internet are designed in such a way that they trap beginners with a lure of potential sums of money waiting for them. And most beginners in their naivety and impatience to earn are the prey to such scams. The internet today has million of such scams. The most common attribute of any site which is trying to scam you is that they charge you money. That means they take money from you first! They give false promise of huge incomes after that. It is upto your alertness to recognize legitimate money making opportunities to the false ones.

Experiment a Lot

When it comes to making money online you need to experiment different ways. There are ways to freelance content, sell photographs, blog on a niche, sell products the list is a long one. So it is important that you experiment and research about all the money making methods to see what works best for you. As some people can blog well but others may not sell products well. So experiment online to see what works best for you.

It is always a doubt in the mind of many webmasters that why is a .COM so much more preferred over any other extension. This post tells you a few basic reasons.

There are many domain extensions available today on the internet. GoDaddy even sells you a .me domain extension. However, it has been the .com which has always been popular with webmasters. So what is the best extension which you can give to your domain name? As we know well, it has become increasingly difficult for us to find the domain name of our choice with .COM. Many online startups tried to test the .biz extension for their company domain – but they found it extremely difficult to create a reputable brand. Eventually, everyone comes back to a .com domain name.

You will be advised in some places that a .net is also a good bet (for eg- www.problogger.net), but, my personal view is that a .com is a necessity if your starting a website or blog.

I have been noticing a strange problem with my FeedBurner RSS Subscribers counter. I have been seeing my RSS Subscribers count fluctuating a lot this month, looks like there is some problem with FeedBurner counter. Generally my RSS Subscribers graph varies from 260 to 300. Right now FeedBurner is showing exactly 300 subscribers against my RSS Counter.

When I checked my FeedBurner account, On May 2nd, I had 135 Subscribers only and the next day, my subscribers count gets back to its normal state of 262. I witnessed the same kind of fluctuation with my RSS Subscribers count on many occasions with my FeedBurner account this month. Recently on 22nd May, It was showing 193 subscribers against my blog and on 23may, my RSS Subscribers counter gets back to 272.

I’m even attaching the screenshot that I took from my FeedBurner account to make my point even more clear.

Have you noticed such kind of fluctuation in RSS Subscribers count to your blog where you are using FeedBurner service to manage and control your Feeds or any other service, please share in the comments section below? If you ever face this kind of situation when you lose lots of or approximately half of your blog subscribers in a single day, wait for the next one or two day, by the time FeedBurner counter gets fixed and start showing your original subscribers count.
